Maria has worked in different fields of culture but cinema has always been her true love. She received her Master’s degree in cultural and film studies and has an ever growing interest in monsters in our culture and their meanings. Her approach to documentary filmmaking is reflective and essayistic. Maria has written and directed short films and acquired professional experience also on numerous acclaimed features as a production coordinator at It’s Alive Films.
